Data Interpretation Guideline

DON'T get seduced by precision

Why

Models can give incredibly precise information. This precision is NOT the same as accuracy. Therefore, when interpreting results, it is important to understand whether the precision is warranted or just an artifact of data interpolation or smoothing.

This DON’T will provide questions one can ask about the modeling process to better understand what degree of precision is warranted and suggestions on how to navigate to appropriate spatial and temporal domains.
